Junior Leaders. Young teens ages 12-14 years old who have a passion to share cheerleading with children are invited to apply to be Junior Leaders. Participants are assigned to work with a team and develop basic coaching skills while learning about hard work, service, child learning, commitment, and leadership under the supervision of a certified cheer coach. Positions are limited and are available on a volunteer-basis only.
Coaches in Training. Teens ages 15 & 16 who want to refine their knowledge and pursue coaching certifications are invited to apply to be a Coach in Training. Participants learn the International All Star Federation rules as well as the Varsity Scoring System while coaching along side a certified cheerleading coach. They learn about stunt and tumbling theory, how to develop skills, and how to practice plan effectively. Coaches in Training are also introduced to concepts in athletic development and periodization.
